India, Republic of (Press Release) March 3, 2008 --
Bangalore-based software products company, PK4
Software Technologies, today announced that it had launched the addictive word association
game Funny Farm on Facebook.
Funny Farm originally written by Igor Naverniouk is a compelling word association game that
has phenomenal following amongst it’s users on the web. PK4 brings the game to the social
networking world of Facebook in association with its author. You just guess your words based
on the clue in the center of the page. As you guess more words, you unlock new words. As you
progress, your words get to the edge of a screen, and unlock new sections for you to guess.
Starting from one section, you can uncover up to a maximum of 25 sections with different
numbers of words on each.
PK4 has implemented the Funny Farm game
in its original form, but with some additional
features. Given the collaborative nature of
social networking, PK4 has a built-in chat
room that allows users to work on the puzzle
collectively sharing clues. PK4 allows the
ability for the game to be set up with different
themes, each with it’s own set of sections.
PK4 Chairman Thomas Alexander said he was delighted to bring Funny Farm to Facebook, using
the zeroCode web app development framework. “Funny Farm is very popular in the word puzzles

space and we are very happy to enable the game on Facebook. With our scalable, reliable
platform, we feel that we can successfully handle the large numbers of Funny Farm enthusiasts.
We are letting users generate their own themes. Our goal is to make this highly engaging game
even more viral. We have embedded a chat room into Funny Farm, so that enthusiasts can share
clues and talk to each other as they play”, he added.
Igor Naverniouk was very happy that Funny Farm was being released on a new platform. “We
have over 100,000 users of Funny Farm and they have made over 15,000,000 guesses. This
shows the game’s incredible addictiveness - that an average player makes over 150 guesses! With
Funny Farm on Facebook, users can collaborate with their friends in real time. With more themes,
Funny Farm addicts now get more of the good stuff”, he added.
The Funny Farm puzzle is available at http://apps.facebook.com/funnyfarm.
