New First Step Available for Seniors Wanting to Resolve Conflict (3/24/08)
Breyer Patterson
Seniors face a daunting array of conflict situations. Seniors need to deal with an ever-expanding set of service providers: health, insurance, facilities, and financial services to name a few, and then there are the ongoing family and estate issues. Life is ever more complex and confusing with increased opportunities for conflict. Also confusing is that seniors understand that lawyers and courts rarely hold effective (or affordable) answers to everyday conflicts. Against this challenging backdrop, a new option for constructively addressing conflict has emerged: individual “conflict consultation.”
